Not really. I don’t want to allow states to bring segregation back to public schools, as Ron Paul tried to do with the Family Protection Act. I don’t want to ban all abortion, emergency contraception, and hormonal birth control as he tried to do with the Sanctity of Life Act. I don’t want to allow each state to establish its own state religion or tell me what sexual positions I’m allowed to use in my own bedroom, as Paul attempted with his We The People Act. I don’t agree with his assertion that there’s no such thing as separation of church and state, or that evolution isn’t real. I don’t want to further deregulate corporations like he does. I don’t want to go back to the gold standard and allow even more hoarding of wealth by the rich. I don’t want to further privatize prisons, continue with private healthcare, and privatize roads and schools. I don’t want to base our economic policies on the absurd pile of horse shit that is Austrian economics. I don’t want businesses to be able to reject me because I’m black. I don’t want to repeal the Civil Rights Act or the Voting Rights Act. I don’t want to repeal all sexual harassment laws. I don’t want to make a legal distinction between “honest rape” and…whatever Ron Paul would call other rapes.

So no, I don’t want to make the changes Ron Paul wants to make, because I’m not a plantation owner in 1859.

I know there are plenty, but if you’re into nerd culture you all know the D&D player he’s talking about. The guy who likes to go on about how he knows the game better than all of you, the one that will shove your nose into the rulebook for every movement, the one that you really wish you could oust from the group but he’s friends with that one guy and damnit you really do need a paladin for this module. That guy. That guy supports Ron Paul.
